Senior Frontend Infrastructure Engineer
Own and evolve shared frontend infrastructure across web and mobile, including design systems, UI component libraries, data-fetching layers, notification systems, AI-powered internal tools, CLI automations, CI/CD, QA tooling, performance improvements, backend-for-frontend services, architecture documentation, and engineering mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve shared frontend infrastructure including design systems, UI component libraries, data-fetching layers, and notification systems across web and mobile
- Contribute to product and design engineering work to keep the team connected to user experience
- Build AI-powered internal tools and automations such as changelog builders, cherry-pick automations, and CLI tools using LLMs
- Lead large-scale migrations with clear tooling decisions and plans other teams can follow
- Build and improve release automation, CI/CD pipelines, and QA tooling
- Drive performance improvements across applications
- Maintain backend-for-frontend services supporting multiple product teams
- Produce high-quality, well-tested code and architecture documentation
- Mentor engineers through code review, documentation, and best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Deep experience with React and React Native across web and mobile
- Experience building developer tooling, design systems, or shared infrastructure
- Strong frontend architecture, styling, data-fetching, and build-tooling judgment
- Experience delivering large, ambiguous projects end-to-end
- Comfort with CI/CD, release engineering, testing frameworks, and automation
- Eagerness to explore AI-assisted development
- Desire to keep up with modern web and mobile best practices
- Active open source contributions are a nice to have
- AI-powered developer tools, CLI, LLM, Swift, Kotlin, native mobile, and crypto experience are nice to have; candidates with no crypto experience are welcome
