Senior Fullstack developer - 12 months contract
Summary
Senior fullstack developer on a 12-month contract in Singapore, building scalable web apps with React/Angular/Vue.js frontends and Java/Spring Boot or .NET/C# backends, plus CI/CD, microservices and database integration.
Duration: 1 year
Working Hours: 8.30am - 6pm, Monday - Fridays. Standby and shift work may be required

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack web applications and enterprise software solutions.
- Develop modern, responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using React, Angular, Vue.js or similar frameworks.
- Develop robust back-end applications, APIs and microservices using Java/Spring Boot, .NET/C# or similar technologies.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate applications with databases, third-party systems and enterprise platforms.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated build, testing and deployment processes.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design through development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks and production defects.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical architecture and design discussions.
- Work closely with product managers, business users, architects and other technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Apply software engineering best practices to ensure application quality, security, scalability and performance.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency and system capabilities.
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong front-end development experience with React, Angular, Vue.js or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong back-end development experience with Java/Spring Boot, .NET/C#, or equivalent technologies.
- Hands-on experience with either Java/Spring Boot OR .NET/C# is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps technologies and practices, including CI/CD, automated deployment and source control.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices and web application architecture.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or MongoDB.
- Good understanding of Git/version control, software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns and object-oriented programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
