Wage Range: $105,000.00 – $115,000.00 annual salary, Exempt

Position Overview:

The Senior Health and Wellness Operations Manager serves as a strategic leader responsible for monitoring operational performance, grant-funded initiatives, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and service delivery across Health & Wellness programs.

This position serves as the primary operational partner to the Chief Health and Wellness Officer and works collaboratively with program leaders, finance, billing, quality improvement, compliance, and executive leadership to ensure successful achievement of organizational goals, grant deliverables, licensing requirements, and performance expectations.

The Senior Manager develops performance monitoring systems, oversees program evaluation efforts, identifies
operational barriers, and provides executive leadership with data-driven recommendations to improve access, quality, outcomes, productivity, compliance, and financial sustainability.

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards related to departments under the Chief Health and Wellness Officer.
  • Monitor program productivity, access, engagement, retention, and discharge outcomes.
  • Establish performance benchmarks and accountability measures.
  • Identify operational barriers impacting performance.
  • Develop corrective action plans when performance targets are not achieved.
  • Present weekly and monthly performance reports to executive leadership.
  • Health and Wellness Department Outcomes & Quality
    • Monitor Health and Wellness department outcome measures across all programs.
    • Develop systems to evaluate effectiveness of services.
    • Coordinate quality improvement initiatives.
    • Identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Grant & Contract Performance
    • Monitor performance of federal, state, tribal, county, and private grant-funded programs.
    • Track approximately $16 million in grant-funded program activities and deliverables.
    • Monitor contract compliance and reporting requirements.
    • Ensure performance measures tied to funding agreements are achieved.
    • Coordinate with program leaders on corrective action planning when necessary.
  • Financial & Revenue Performance
    • Partner with Finance and Revenue Cycle teams to monitor program financial performance.
    • Identify operational issues impacting revenue generation.
    • Monitor budget-to-actual performance.
    • Develop recommendations to improve financial performance while maintaining quality outcomes.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation
    • Monitor compliance with federal, state, tribal, and contractual requirements.
    • Support audit readiness and accreditation efforts.
    • Partner with Compliance and Quality teams to mitigate risk.
  • Strategic Planning & Executive Support
    • Serve as strategic advisor to the Chief Health and Wellness Officer.
    • Lead operational planning efforts.
    • Support development of new service lines and program expansion initiatives.
    • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving finance, grants, compliance, operations, and clinical leadership.
