Job Description
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Work on Keycloak-related development, including SPI, custom authenticators, and authentication flows.
• Integrate Keycloak with backend services, APIs, and microservices.
• Design and implement secure authentication and authorization flows for digital banking systems.
• Build and support microservice-based architecture with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability.
• Work with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS, BullMQ, or similar message queues.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, backend, and product teams to deliver secure and high-quality solutions.
• Participate in solution design, technical discussions, code reviews, and implementation planning.
• Support the creation of technical documentation and development tasks when required.
• Ensure backend services follow best practices in security, performance, and maintainability.
Requirements
• Strong commercial experience as a Java Engineer, preferably at senior level.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Keycloak.
• Practical experience with Keycloak SPI development, custom authenticators, and authentication flows.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
• Experience with microservice architecture.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Experience with at least one messaging system: Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS, BullMQ, or another message queue.
• Good understanding of authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and related security concepts.
• Experience working with secure, scalable, and high-load backend systems.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with architecture, security, and development teams.
Nice to Have
• Experience in banking, fintech, payments, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with SAML, LDAP, or Active Directory integration.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Experience with high availability and resilient backend systems.
• Experience with API security and identity-related integrations.
• Previous experience in digital banking or customer-facing financial products.
