Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Government Systems

Technical leadership role on the Government Systems team, responsible for secure deployment infrastructure serving government and high-security customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead RKE2 Kubernetes cluster design, upgrades, capacity planning, networking, and resilience.
• Architect and maintain Terraform infrastructure for AWS environments.
• Own GitHub Actions CI/CD platform architecture and reliability.
• Drive GitOps delivery with Flux CD, Helm, and Kustomize.
• Define container image lifecycle policies across OCI registries.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and incident response practices.
• Support product teams integrating with deployment pipelines.
• Own platform security, including secrets, certificates, RBAC, and compliance controls.
• Mentor and grow other engineers.

Requirements

• Deep production Kubernetes experience at scale.
• Expert Terraform proficiency, including module design and state management.
• Strong Linux systems administration skills.
• Extensive CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance experience.
• Deep familiarity with AWS infrastructure and security services.
• Strong operational mindset focused on reliability and automation.
