Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Design and build scalable, highly available infrastructure and tooling that automates operations, support, maintenance, and operability. Develop software and tooling to improve automation, monitoring, alerting, SLOs, SLIs, runbooks, availability, and reliability. Perform systems hardening, support SOC2 and FedRAMP compliance, maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments, and help set infrastructure strategy.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, highly available infrastructure
- Develop software and tooling to automate operations and improve operability
- Use data to monitor and improve availability, reliability, and sustainability
- Engage in systems hardening and compliance, including SOC2 and FedRAMP
- Define SLOs and SLIs and implement monitoring, alerting, and runbooks
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to set infrastructure strategy and priorities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience with AWS and/or GCP IaaS services
- Proficiency with modern Unix/Linux operating systems, preferably CentOS and Alpine
- Experience with CI/CD, containers or virtualization, web servers, and databases
- Experience defining SLOs and SLIs and implementing monitoring, alerting, and runbooks
- Experience with Terraform, Airflow, GKE, EKS, BigQuery, and/or Kubernetes is a plus
