Senior/Lead Security Engineer, Red Team
Lead red team and offensive security initiatives, including penetration testing, adversarial simulations, AI and machine learning security assessments, remediation guidance, security framework integration, and automated offensive tooling.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the annual offensive security roadmap
- Manage internal and external penetration tests
- Design red team campaigns simulating real-world tactics, techniques, and procedures
- Provide remediation guidance and validate engineering fixes
- Lead security assessments for AI and machine learning deployments
- Integrate AI security frameworks into the security lifecycle
- Develop jailbreaking and stress-testing playbooks for AI agents and infrastructure
- Evaluate third-party security vendors and bug bounty platforms
- Advise department heads and engineering leadership on the threat landscape
- Oversee custom scripts and automated offensive tools
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in related roles
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
- Understanding or experience in cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, or finance trading
- Ability to translate technical security issues into clear actions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and planning skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Prior experience in a crypto exchange, blockchain company, or high-risk trading platform preferred
- Relevant leadership, offensive, defensive, or cloud security certifications preferred
