Senior Manager, Enterprise Payments

Drive growth in active accounts and payment volume by executing and refining payments strategies, targeting priority accounts, managing strategic relationships, and developing business opportunities across payments, DeFi, asset tokenization, and wallets. Structure and close commercial opportunities, coordinate with partnership leads, and represent the organization at regional and global meetings.

Responsibilities

• Execute and refine the payments strategy.
• Drive monthly active account volume.
• Grow B2B2B and B2B2C payouts and commerce.
• Expand global marketplace activity.
• Grow payment service provider relationships.
• Develop neobank opportunities.
• Develop priority target lists.
• Manage strategic account relationships.
• Expand DeFi and monthly addresses.
• Drive asset tokenization opportunities.
• Surface business opportunities.
• Close deals with business development partners.
• Represent Stellar at regional and global meetings.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven business development success in global payment processing, fintech, or blockchain/crypto-related roles.
• Existing relationships within enterprise, fintech, payments, and crypto ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of crypto payment systems, cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain technology, and digital asset payments.
• Understanding of payment flow of funds and global and local payments.
• Ability to develop, structure, negotiate, and close opportunities.
• Experience with go-to-market strategies, new business opportunities, and complex sales cycles.
• Industry experience with enterprises, financial institutions, crypto companies, payment providers, or fintech startups.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial drive and self-starting ability.
• Ability to travel as needed and represent Stellar at regional and global meetings and conferences.
• Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, or Mandarin is a bonus.
• Traditional finance institutional knowledge is a bonus.
