Senior Manager Facade Design

Responsibilities

Acts as the client’s technical representative for all façade design, engineering, and delivery activities, ensuring systems meet design intent, performance requirements, quality standards, and programme objectives while safeguarding cost and risk.
Lead façade design oversight, technical reviews, and coordination across disciplines and interfaces.
Manage consultants and contractors, including review of shop drawings, fabrication, and installation.
Oversee construction delivery, programme, and package-based procurement phases.
Ensure quality assurance, compliance with standards, and performance testing requirements.
Manage risk, value engineering, and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or structural engineering (postgraduate façade engineering is an advantage).
• 5-7 years of relevant experience with GCC or large-scale mixed-use development.
• Chartered status with a relevant professional body preferred.
• Accreditation such as CWCT, LEED, or BREEAM is advantageous.
