Senior Manager, Facilities Management

  • Lead and manage the Facilities Management Centre with a strategic vision, ensuring alignment with the organisation's goals and standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive facilities management programmes that improve operational efficiency and support the evolving needs of the organisation.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration among stakeholders including engineers, contractors, and internal departments to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Oversee maintenance schedules, emergency preparedness, and compliance with statutory and environmental regulations to uphold the highest safety and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, innovation, and adoption of industry best practices in facilities and asset management.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to maximize value and service quality.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for the Facilities Management Centre, ensuring fiscal responsibility and resource optimisation.
  • Develop talent within the facilities management team, providing coaching, performance management, and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure robust risk management practices are in place to mitigate operational disruptions and safeguard assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building, Estate Management, or related discipline
  • Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management / IFM / Real Estate
  • At least 5-8 years in senior leadership roles, managing large and complex accounts
  • Proven track record in:
  • Managing multi-site FM portfolios
  • Delivering end-to-end IFM services
  • Leading cross-functional teams
  • Proven senior leadership experience in facilities management or related infrastructure programme management, preferably within an engineering or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of facility operations, maintenance strategies, building systems and relevant compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent programme and project management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives successfully.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mind with a problem-solving orientation and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Relevant certifications in facilities management, project management, or engineering disciplines are advantageous.
  • CFME Tier 2
  • Workplace Safety certifications (e.g. WSH / FSM for Singapore context)
