Senior Manager (Policy and Business Innovation)

The Job

• Support the development and execution of corporate strategies, business plans and strategic initiatives to drive organisational growth and long-term development.
• Conduct policy, market, industry and environmental research to identify emerging trends, opportunities and risks, and provide strategic insights to management.
• Monitor organisational performance and facilitate the implementation of key corporate priorities and cross-functional initiatives.
• Lead sustainability and innovation initiatives, including performance monitoring, benchmarking, reporting and continuous improvement efforts.
• Drive applied research projects and establish partnerships with universities, research institutions and other external stakeholders to support organisational development and future growth.
• Translate research findings and strategic insights into practical recommendations, pilot projects, service enhancements and new business opportunities.
• Prepare high-quality analyses, management reports, briefing papers and presentation materials for senior management and Board consideration.
• Lead a small team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver strategic, sustainability and innovation objectives.

The Person

• Degree holder from a recognised university; candidates with background in public policy, business, social sciences, sustainability, economics, actuarial science, quantitative analysis or related disciplines are preferred.
• A Master's degree or other relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
• At least 10 years' relevant experience in strategic planning, policy research, sustainability, innovation, corporate development or related fields, including supervisory experience.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects and engaging stakeholders across different functions.
• Excellent communication, presentation and report-writing skills.
• Proven leadership capability with experience in leading and developing teams.
• Experience in Government, public sector organisations, statutory bodies or consulting firms will be an advantage.
