Overview of the role

Provide project management services to successfully deliver multiple projects on time, within budget, and with the best quality in coordination with AFGRE team and all other parties.

What you will do

Direct and supervise AFGRE Project Managers and Project Engineers to supervise multiple projects within CFC including the following tasks:

  • Assure scope of work, schedule, and budget are clearly defined and identified by senior management and all project participants.
  • Manage scope of work by identifying change conditions or work outside the scope and complying with AFGRE change control procedures for any necessary changes.
  • Participate in constructability and value engineering reviews to identify actions required to achieve cost savings and expedite construction activities.
  • Manage the project team by providing communication, coordination, and meeting the project goals and objectives.
  • Chair, attend, and regulate various meetings such as project progress meetings, commercial, quality, and safety circles.
  • Supervise the construction daily activities, gathering project data and producing technical periodical reports.
  • Monitor site resources and ensure adequate staffing, labor, and equipment to complete the project on time.
  • Ensure that all activities on site comply with HSE standards.
  • Administrate project consultant to ensure fulfilling all duties regarding review, approval of shop drawings, other technical submittals, and site inspections.
  • Administrate project engineer to ensure fulfilling all duties on contractual and project management issues.
  • Administrate project engineer, consultant, and contractor throughout the project to ensure all certificates, as-built drawings, and final inspections have been obtained prior to project close out.
  • Administrate project engineer, consultant, and contractor during the close out stage to ensure handling primary snag list and all close out documents.
  • Deliver the project upon completion to all related parties (city management, authorities, and tenants).

Required skills to be successful

  • 12–20 years of professional experience in project and construction management.
  • Strong expertise in project management across large-scale construction projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, and project planning tools.
  • Solid understanding of construction principles, standard practices, and procedures.
  • Strong presentation and reporting capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage timelines, and drive project outcomes.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver within deadlines.
  • Results-driven mindset with high levels of accountability and ownership.

What equips you for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Construction Management, or Architecture).
  • PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end project delivery within the construction sector.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to guide teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Effective time management and decision-making skills in complex project environments.
  • Ability to apply industry best practices and ensure compliance with construction standards.
