Senior Manager Strategic Finance and Business Analytics
Own the economics of the US business by maintaining revenue and gross-margin forecasts, building customer cohort models, analyzing payments, fraud, and incentive costs, owning KPI reporting, sizing market and channel opportunities, modeling cost categories, and presenting recommendations to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update weekly US revenue and gross-margin forecasts.
- Build cohort models tracking acquisition, deposits, trading activity, and retention.
- Decompose payments, fraud, and incentive costs to explain margin movements and unit economics.
- Own weekly KPI reporting for US leadership, define metrics, and close data gaps.
- Size new market and channel opportunities with growth and product teams.
- Build detailed models for liquidity, web hosting, onboarding, and transaction-driven expenses.
- Present analyses and recommendations to leadership and follow through until decisions are made.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in strategic finance or business analytics.
- Experience building driver-based financial models from scratch.
- Experience with transaction-level unit economics and margin decomposition.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment with imperfect data.
- Experience defining KPIs, building reporting infrastructure, and creating finance or strategy dashboards.
- Experience producing analysis that changed a leadership decision.
- SQL and self-serve dashboard experience with Looker, Metabase, or similar is a plus.
- Experience at a fintech, crypto, or marketplace company is a plus.
