Senior Mobile Software Engineer

Develop and maintain React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android, implement testing and CI/CD best practices, build scalable architecture and shared component libraries, maintain monorepo infrastructure, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on gaming, virtual currency, and digital commerce experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms.
• Implement code review, testing strategies, and CI/CD best practices.
• Deliver high-quality features throughout the development lifecycle.
• Build scalable and maintainable application features.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, project management, and engineering teams.
• Integrate mini-apps and virtual currency systems with the Xsolla App ecosystem.
• Design scalable React Native architecture focused on maintainability, performance, and developer experience.
• Lead shared code strategies between React web and React Native.
• Establish coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Create technical specifications and architecture documentation.
• Build and maintain monorepo infrastructure using Nx, Turborepo, or similar tools.
• Optimize build pipelines, dependency management, caching, and incremental builds.
• Manage package versioning, publishing, and dependencies.
• Design a shared component library for React and React Native.
• Create platform-agnostic business logic, utilities, and services.
• Build tooling and documentation for shared code adoption.
• Implement adaptive components with platform-specific implementations and unified APIs.
• Establish cross-platform patterns for type definitions, hooks, contexts, and state management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of mobile application development experience focused on React Native.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Commercial mobile application delivery experience from concept to launch.
• Proficiency in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knowledge of Swift or Kotlin native modules is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns and state management.
• Experience with third-party integrations and APIs.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven approach.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with gaming ecosystems and virtual currency platforms is a plus.
