We are seeking a skilled Murex Configuration and Environment Management expert with extensive experience in Murex architecture concepts, development, and support. The successful candidate will collaborate with a project development team to deliver high-quality outcomes that align with stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
Analyzing stakeholder requirements and formulating designs to meet project targets.
Delivering and supporting Murex solutions while managing the quality of functional delivery.
Performing various levels of testing and participating in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).
Communicating principles, standards, and roadmaps effectively to stakeholders.
Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in business and IT.
Reporting progress, issues, and risks to management and stakeholders.
Understanding the production impact of new changes.
Ensuring deep collaboration among project members.
Overseeing Murex environments alongside database, backup, network, and security teams.
Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and application issues.
Conducting infrastructure reviews and redesigning workflows for efficiency.
Managing hardware and software requirements for Murex releases.
Providing application monitoring support and ensuring optimal performance in various environments.
Facilitating a smooth handover to Business-As-Usual post-release.
Key Requirements:
BS or higher degree in Economics, Finance, or a related scientific field.
Detail-oriented, quick learner, and self-starter.
Minimum of 5 years experience as a system/business analyst or consultant/developer in Murex.
Previous project experience in financial services, particularly in investment banking and risk management.
Solid experience in gathering and writing requirements and functional specifications.
Expertise in Murex system architecture.
Proficient in shell scripting for automation and data management within Linux environments.
Database knowledge, particularly with Oracle/SQL for managing Murex data.
Proven experience with Murex EOD batch configuration and troubleshooting.
Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments.
Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries for data management.
Experience performing regular maintenance activities to ensure system reliability.
Nice to Have:
Experience integrating Murex with other systems.
Knowledge of current trends in financial technologies.
