Senior Network Operations Analyst
Operate, maintain, and improve logical data and security networks, including edge routers, core switches, and firewalls. Troubleshoot complex incidents, provide L1/L2 and partial L3 support, perform root cause analysis, plan network expansions, maintain documentation, and improve monitoring systems and alerts.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain edge routers, core switches, and firewalls
- Troubleshoot and resolve medium- and high-complexity network incidents
- Provide L1/L2 and partial L3 network support to customers and internal teams
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions
- Plan and support network expansions, topology changes, and capacity improvements
- Maintain network documentation, procedures, and incident records
- Manage and improve network monitoring systems
- Create and tune alerts, graphs, and thresholds
Requirements
- Advanced English communication skills at B2 level or higher
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Networking fundamentals and protocols including MAC, VLAN, Trunking, Spanning Tree, ARP, Subnetting, ACLs, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, TCP, UDP, SNMP, NTP, SSH, Ping, and Traceroute
- Production environment troubleshooting experience
- Cisco CCNA certification
- Experience with Juniper, Fortinet, Huawei, or multi-vendor environments
- Experience in ISP, data center, or large-scale infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or LibreNMS
- Experience interacting with carriers and transit providers
