Senior Operations Manager $9K - $12K + VB / Own Vehicle / 5.5 Days (West Area)

Role Summary

· Lead the full operations of a Wastewater Treatment and Waste Management Facility

· You will own P&L, regulatory compliance, safety, and team performance across collection, treatment, recycling and disposal

Key Duties

Oversee day-to-day; drive efficient waste collection, transportation, processing and disposal procedures
Develop long-term strategic plans, policies and SOPs for waste and recycling operations
Identify growth, cost-reduction and revenue-generation opportunities
Set and monitor KPIs to track operational and financial performance
Manage budgets, control expenses and optimise resource allocation
Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management
Ensure full compliance with NEA and PUB environmental regulations
Implement best practices in waste reduction, recycling and sustainability
Promote a safety-first culture and enforce WSH protocols on site
Conduct regular inspections, audits and quality control checks
Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions
Lead and develop department heads across operations, sales and customer service
Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations
Handle customer enquiries, concerns and feedback promptly and professionally
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field (Master's preferred)
Minimum 5 years' experience; at least 2 years in a Managerial or Leadership role
Relevant industry background is mandatory (Waste Management / WWTP / Environmental Services)
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, waste disposal methods and recycling practices
Proficient in budgeting, cost control and financial management
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and decision-making ability in a fast-changing environment
Certification in Waste Management or a related field is advantageous
