Senior Product Designer
You will be embedded in a cross-functional squad, partnering with your team throughout the product lifecycle from discovery through launch and future iterations. You will use your full range of Product Design skills to discover, research, design and deliver engaging, well-crafted experiences across mobile and web, evolving design concepts from early-stage prototypes to high-fidelity mock-ups. You will deeply understand the members you are designing for through user research, previous insights and usage analytics. You will support design-process evolution, estimate design effort, track OKRs and measure member impact. You will collaborate with the Design practice and use and contribute to the Tide Design System.
Responsibilities
- Partner with a cross-functional squad throughout the product lifecycle from discovery to launch and iterations
- Discover, research, design and deliver engaging experiences across mobile and web
- Evolve design concepts from early-stage prototypes to high-fidelity mock-ups
- Run user research sessions and analyze usage analytics to understand members
- Estimate design effort, track to OKRs, and measure experience impact
- Collaborate with the Design practice to identify and meet member needs
- Use and contribute to the Tide Design System
Requirements
- At least 4+ years of experience designing digital products for web and mobile platforms in a product design or UX role
- A portfolio or case study demonstrating product thinking, user experience, interaction and visual design skills, a clear process and measurable impact
- Ability to identify when research is needed and experience running moderated sessions with users
- Experience designing complex products and collaborating with cross-functional peers in product and engineering
- Great storytelling skills to clearly communicate the why behind your work
- Impact-driven mindset with pragmatism about trade-offs
- Understanding of the end-to-end design process from ideation to launch and ability to collaborate with engineers
- Demonstrable proficiency in Figma
- Good understanding of Design Systems and accessibility
