Senior Product Manager - Africa

Own the end-to-end Africa product roadmap at LemFi, spanning corridor performance, market launches, customer-focused features, payment partnerships, payment rails, and cross-border money movement. Collaborate with engineering, design, business development, local partners, aggregators, and payment networks while using data, customer feedback, compliance signals, commercial insights, and AI tools to guide product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the Africa product roadmap, including corridor performance, market launches, and customer features.
• Develop partnership relationships with local partners, aggregators, and payment networks.
• Identify gaps in live payment corridors and build data-backed business cases to address them.
• Work with engineering and design to ship improvements, unblock dependencies, and maintain quality.
• Use AI tools for research, specification writing, and competitive analysis.
• Synthesize customer feedback, compliance signals, and commercial data into a clear product narrative.
• Represent the Africa region internally and translate local market insights into company priorities.

Requirements

• Proven Product Manager experience in fintech, payments, or a closely adjacent field.
• Deep familiarity with African payment corridors, rails, regulation, and cross-border money movement across markets including Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa.
• Experience owning partnership and business development conversations.
• Ability to conduct analysis, define metrics, and communicate insights from data.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and design in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
• Experience building and securing approval for business cases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
