Senior Product Manager, Fiat Payment
Own Transak’s fiat payments experience across the Americas, improving payment success, time-to-funds, transaction costs, disputes, settlement, reconciliation, and partner experience across multiple payment rails.
Responsibilities
- Own the fiat payments roadmap across ACH, bank transfers, cards, and APMs.
- Define multi-rail routing strategy based on conversion, cost, risk, speed, and availability.
- Set and manage payment KPIs across authorization, completion, funding time, cost, disputes, returns, and payouts.
- Prioritize roadmap work using data, user feedback, and partner insights.
- Define quarterly product strategy and write detailed PRDs.
- Lead agile execution and iterative product delivery.
- Drive reliability improvements using idempotency, retries, state machines, fallbacks, and monitoring.
- Own end-to-end ACH payin and payout experiences, including bank linking, verification, lifecycle tracking, and exceptions.
- Improve card authorization and payment success through routing, retries, tokenization, and decline-reason normalization.
- Expand and optimize local APM coverage, especially across LATAM.
- Standardize APM integrations, statuses, webhooks, error taxonomies, reporting, and SLAs.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Engineering, and Partnerships on payment readiness and operations.
- Source, onboard, and scale payment providers and manage partner escalations.
- Improve developer and partner experience through scalable APIs, documentation, dashboards, and operational transparency.
- Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs to leadership.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years in product management or a strong engineering-to-PM background, ideally in payments, fintech infrastructure, or money movement.
- Experience owning bank transfer, ACH, card, or local APM products, including settlement and reconciliation.
- Technical fluency with APIs, webhooks, payment state machines, ledgers, idempotency, retries, and observability.
- Data-driven mindset with comfort using SQL and analytics.
- Strong cross-functional leadership across Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Partnerships.
- Experience operating in US, Canadian, and/or LATAM markets and navigating regulated environments.
- Experience with Same Day ACH, RTP/FedNow, wires, LATAM APM ecosystems, bank operations, or payments compliance is a plus.
- Exposure to Web3 on/off-ramps, stablecoin rails, wallet ecosystems, or internal payments tooling is a plus.
