Senior Product Manager, Ongoing Monitoring
Own the roadmap, strategy, and lifecycle for acquiring transaction risk monitoring capabilities across payment journeys. The role focuses on fraud reduction, chargeback outcomes, operational risk, real-time decisioning, machine learning, explainable AI, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy, vision, and roadmap for acquiring fraud and risk monitoring.
- Build scalable monitoring capabilities across card-present and card-not-present acquiring journeys.
- Define real-time rules, risk signals, machine learning models, and decisioning workflows.
- Prioritize product work based on risk reduction, commercial impact, operational effort, member experience, and feasibility.
- Identify fraud patterns, merchant behavior, loss drivers, and control gaps.
- Monitor fraud, chargeback, scheme exposure, false-positive, recovery, and operational efficiency metrics.
- Improve chargeback prevention, handling, recovery, and case management workflows.
- Identify opportunities for Agentic AI and automation in fraud and risk operations.
- Build explainable and measurable AI-supported risk decisioning capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of product management experience is preferred.
- Direct experience in acquiring risk, merchant risk, payment fraud, transaction monitoring, or chargeback management.
- Experience in an acquiring bank, PSP, payments company, fintech, or large merchant with an acquiring risk function.
- Track record of reducing acquiring fraud, chargeback losses, or merchant risk exposure.
- Understanding of card-present and card-not-present acquiring journeys.
- Experience with real-time rules engines, fraud monitoring systems, machine learning models, case management tools, or risk operations workflows.
- Ability to use data to identify loss drivers and measure control effectiveness.
- Ability to collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Risk, Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams.
- Understanding of fraud reduction and genuine member experience trade-offs.
- Clear communication with senior stakeholders and ability to lead cross-functional delivery.
