About the role:
We are seeking a senior product/UI designer to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you'll lead the design of intuitive and accessible user interfaces for both Arabic (RTL) and English (LTR) platforms. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to design systems, and drive micro-prototyping efforts to deliver seamless user experiences. The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of UI/product design experience, strong proficiency in Figma, and a comprehensive understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
Responsibilities:
- Lead UI design for web and mobile products in Arabic (RTL) and English (LTR) contexts
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems and pattern libraries
- Create interactive micro-prototypes to validate design concepts
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum sprints
- Conduct design reviews and iterate based on feedback and user research insights
- Ensure all designs comply with WCAG accessibility guidelines
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to design best practices
Required qualifications:
- 4–6 years of experience in product/UI design
- Proficiency in Figma for interface design and prototyping
- Hands-on experience with micro-prototyping techniques
- Strong background in creating and maintaining design systems
- Demonstrated ability to design Arabic (RTL) and English (LTR) interfaces
- Solid understanding of WCAG accessibility standards
- Experience participating in Agile/Scrum sprint cycles
- Fluent in English; strong proficiency in Arabic
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience working in the MENA region
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development workflows
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Familiarity with additional prototyping tools (e.g., Principle, Framer)
- Experience leading design workshops or training sessions
- Background in product management or UX strategy
- Understanding of localization and internationalization best practices
