Senior Project Manager (MilTech, Ukraine only)
Summary
Senior Project Manager leading full-cycle software development projects in MilTech and public-sector domains, managing several concurrent projects through predictive and hybrid methodologies. Remote within Ukraine, with strong focus on pre-sales, discovery, requirements lifecycle, and stakeholder management.
Requierements
- 5+ years managing software development projects.
- Experience in the simultaneous management of several projects.
- Understanding of the specifics of public sector projects (formal processes, approvals, documentation)
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in predictive and hybrid development approaches.
- Location: Ukraine.
- Willingness to take a polygraph test.
- English: Upper-Intermediate and higher.
- Experience in Leading the Pre-Sale Phase.
- Experience in conducting project Discovery Phases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Experience in facilitation techniques.
- Experience in Requirements Life Cycle Management.
- Strong Project Change Management skills.
- Experience in tracking the team’s progress and developing team skills.
As a plus
- Experience in managing EdTech/MilTech projects.
- Experience with government projects and stakeholders.
- Experience in the Earned Value Management model.
- Professional certification.
Responsibilities
- Project management of full-cycle projects (from Initiation to Closure).
- Resource Management: Planning, Monitoring team loading, resolving resource plan
conflicts, controlling utilization.
- Planning cost management and financial reporting.
- Ensuring project quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Profound risk and issue management.
- Monitoring project progress.
- Maintaining reporting and documentation.
- Contributing to establishing and adapting internal PM processes.
- People Management: managing team dynamics, contributing to performance plans, and
managing conflict.
- Pre-sale management.
- Presenting and advocating proposed solutions—covering scope, budget, and timelines-
to internal stakeholders and clients to gain alignment and approval.
- Close work with the internal stakeholders to map company interests with client
expectations.
