Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for the Senior QA Engineer who can establish metrics, mentors team members and manage outside resources, as well as develop test programs. Hence, oversee all the aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Test web/mobile com­mer­cial appli­ca­tions across mul­ti­ple hand­sets adher­ing to car­ried stan­dard check­list
• Doc­u­ment results of test­ing and report any defects in a clear and com­pre­hen­sive man­ner
• Com­mu­ni­cate and fol­low up any defects with the devel­oper of the soft­ware
• Actively inves­ti­gate inter­est­ing new tools and techniques
• To prepare test plan and test scripts, to perform internal testing, to manage User Acceptance Testing and assist in test reporting in IT system implementation projects
• To conduct business analysis and requirement study, to document requirement and functional specification, and to liaise with users and developers on requirement validations in system implementation

Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of rel­e­vant expe­ri­ence in Web/Mobile Appli­ca­tion and/or Automated/Manual Soft­ware Testing
• Expo­sure to iPhone/Android development lifecycle will be an added advantage
• Should under­stand all the lev­els of Soft­ware Devel­op­ment Life Cycle.
• Should be familiar with Zephyr test cases.
• Abil­ity to effec­tively inter­act with Man­ager and fel­low team members
• Proac­tive, great atten­tion to detail, results-oriented prob­lem solver, crit­i­cal thinker, and abil­ity to meet aggres­sive dead­lines
• Pas­sion for test­ing mobile appli­ca­tions and find­ing bugs
• Excel­lent oral & writ­ing com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills
• High pro­fi­ciency using auto­mated test tools to con­duct QA test­ing
• Independent with high self-discipline, strong business sense, able to communicate well, good functional and technical documentation skills
