Senior Sales Consultant (Livestock)
Job Description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Territorial Management and Market Development
• Strategically manage the territory as a business with a customer map, mapped potential, and a structured action plan.
• Segment and prioritize accounts (farms, veterinarians, resellers) based on potential and company strategy.
• Develop business plans for strategic accounts, with clear growth and market share goals.
• Monitor competitor movements, industry trends, and expansion opportunities in the territory.
• Execute in-depth diagnostics on priority properties, identifying health gaps and solution opportunities.
- Relationship and Customer Service
• Build solid, long-term relationships with rural producers, veterinarians, and strategic partners.
• Serve customers with a consultative approach, understanding the farm's reality before proposing any solution.
• Ensure a high level of satisfaction by monitoring the results of implemented solutions and adjusting the approach as necessary.
• Represent our company with professionalism, ethics, and excellence in every field interaction.
- Demand Generation and Commercial Performance
• Develop demand for the company's product lines: Animal Health and Identification Technologies.
• Achieve and exceed demand objectives, market share, and performance indicators defined for the territory.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies with resellers and end customers.
• Monitor inventory, product turnover, and channel consumption, ensuring adequate supply and sales traceability.
• Track the opportunity pipeline with discipline and constant updates in corporate tools.
- Technical Training and Market Influence
• Provide technical and commercial training for reseller teams, distributors, veterinarians, and producers.
• Coordinate and participate in events, field days, lectures, and market development actions.
• Become the technical and commercial reference in the region for beef cattle systems (breeding, rearing, and fattening/feedlot and semi-feedlot).
• Promote knowledge transfer in animal health, handling, good production practices, and animal welfare.
- Governance, Discipline, and Execution
• Record activities, visits, opportunities, and results in corporate tools with discipline and punctuality.
• Produce quality technical visit reports, documenting findings, recommendations, and action plans per property.
• Meet deadlines, processes, and routines established by the company with autonomy and responsibility.
• Safeguard the company's image, reputation, and integrity in all interactions.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Consolidated experience in demand generation, technical sales, or market development in the livestock segment.
• Proven track record of achieving results and territory development.
• In-depth knowledge of the beef cattle production chain (breeding, rearing, and fattening).
• Experience in relationships with large producers, veterinarians, consultants, and resellers.
• Ability to build and execute business plans for strategic customers.
• Ability to conduct technical training, presentations, and market events.
• Strong capacity for influence, negotiation, and developing long-term relationships.
• Analytical profile, driven by indicators and results.
• Based in Cuiabá MT.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:
• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or Agronomy with an emphasis on animal production.
• Preferably with specialization or experience in animal production.
DIFFERENTIATORS:
• Postgraduate degree or MBA in Agribusiness, Commercial Management, Marketing, Animal Production, or related fields.
• Experience with structured territorial management.
• Experience in Animal Health companies.
• Knowledge of animal identification technologies and precision livestock farming.
• Experience in farm management programs and zootechnical indicators.
