We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Support Engineer to provide technical support, administration and continuous improvement across a complex enterprise Salesforce environment.
This role is ideal for a Salesforce professional who enjoys solving complex technical issues, supporting critical business applications and working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. You'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing Salesforce platforms including Service Cloud and Digital Experience, while contributing to the stability, performance and ongoing improvement of services that make a meaningful impact.
About the Role
As a Salesforce Support Engineer, you will provide Level 2 support, platform administration and configuration services within an Agile delivery environment. Working alongside technical teams and business stakeholders, you will investigate complex issues, support platform enhancements and ensure Salesforce solutions continue to meet evolving business needs.
You will also contribute to knowledge sharing, capability uplift and the adoption of emerging Salesforce technologies, including Salesforce Industries OmniStudio (Vlocity).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administration, configuration and technical support for Salesforce applications including Service Cloud and Digital Experience.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve complex Level 2 incidents and service requests.
- Analyse system logs, diagnose platform issues and identify root causes.
- Manage Salesforce users, licences and security controls including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules and access management.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce functionality and declarative automation, including Salesforce Flows.
- Translate complex business processes and requirements into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Perform data analysis, data loading, reporting and investigation of data-related issues.
- Assess Salesforce releases and platform updates, identifying potential impacts and opportunities for improvement.
- Support user acceptance testing and provide technical guidance to business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain technical, configuration and support documentation.
- Contribute to Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide mentoring, technical guidance and knowledge transfer to team members.
- Support emerging technologies, including Salesforce Industries OmniStudio.
