Senior Software Engineer Backend
Build platform and backend systems across recording, integrations, and AI agents. Own key features from architecture through implementation, deployment, and support; design scalable services for real-time sales-conversation processing; maintain system health; and improve engineering practices and tooling.
Responsibilities
- Build platform and backend systems across recording, integrations, and AI agents
- Own end-to-end development of key features from architecture through implementation, deployment, and support
- Design and build scalable backend services for real-time processing of sales conversations
- Drive technical excellence through code reviews, documentation, and engineering best practices
- Partner with product and design to translate customer needs into technical solutions
- Own system and product health and make data-driven decisions
- Evolve development practices and tooling to support sustainable scaling
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Work in the New York City office 3+ days per week
- Demonstrate proficiency in modern programming languages, databases, API frameworks, and cloud platforms such as GCP
- Apply strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
