Senior Software Engineer
You will develop Catena Labs' Agent Commerce Kit and core platform, solving technical challenges at the intersection of AI and finance while building secure, reliable systems for autonomous-agent commerce.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications, APIs, and SDKs for communication, collaboration, and transactions between AI agents and users.
- Build systems for cryptographic identity management, payment workflows, and transaction processing.
- Design end-to-end user experiences for secure and reliable AI-agent financial interactions.
- Create tools for agent identities, peer discovery, and reputation management.
- Build performant backend services and scalable APIs for decentralized AI-agent coordination.
Requirements
- 6+ years of full stack engineering experience with strong backend architecture and user-facing product experience.
- Track record of shipping complex production-quality products from concept to production.
- Ability to build performant, reliable, secure systems with polished user experiences.
- Ability to independently design and implement solutions in ambiguous environments.
- Curiosity about AI agents, stablecoins, and programmable identity.
- Ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity.
- Experience with AI-driven solutions or modern AI toolkits is a nice-to-have.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or blockchain development is a nice-to-have.
- Python, TypeScript, Go, and React proficiency is a nice-to-have.
- Relevant open-source contributions are a nice-to-have.
