Senior Software Engineer (Golang)
Own end-to-end development of backend services and distributed systems that power blockchain infrastructure, with a focus on reliability, developer workflows, platform thinking, and customer impact.
Responsibilities
- Own platform features from discovery and specification through design, implementation, rollout, and production operation.
- Translate customer and operational pain points into improvements for provisioning, reliability, scalability, observability, deployment workflows, and efficiency.
- Use AI-first development practices for research, specification, implementation, testing, documentation, and operational analysis.
- Define and improve platform metrics including provisioning time, deployment success, reliability, incidents, utilization, cost, and customer impact.
- Collaborate with platform, DevOps, product, support, and customer-facing teams to prioritize investments and deliver scalable solutions.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, reliability risks, and scaling challenges and drive long-term solutions from concept to production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in backend, platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or distributed systems roles.
- Strong production experience with Go or comparable backend systems languages.
- Experience owning engineering projects end to end, including requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, observability, and iteration.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous communication, event-driven architectures, reliability engineering, and operational trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience with NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar message brokers or event-streaming technologies.
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating services in Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience with CI/CD systems and developer productivity tooling.
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, observability, alerting, incident management, and production operations.
- Practical experience with AI-native engineering workflows and coding, research, debugging, and automation agents.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Experience with blockchain RPC integrations, blockchain client nodes, cloud-native infrastructure, Web3 infrastructure, internal tooling, RFCs, ADRs, specifications, runbooks, and platform product sense.
