Senior Software Engineer
Design, develop, and maintain Helicap's Private Credit Investment Platform and Credit Analytics Platform. Create scalable software solutions, ingest and analyse loanbook and financial data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, influence technical and product direction, and manage competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and efficient software solutions for the Private Credit Investment Platform
- Create solutions to ingest and analyse loanbook and financial data for the Credit Analytics Platform
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Take ownership of work and influence technical direction and product design
- Adapt to and manage multiple competing priorities
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3–4 years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Golang, Java, or similar programming languages
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with MongoDB or other non-relational databases
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code languages and frameworks such as Terraform or Pulumi
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in financial services or fintech
- Knowledge of Apache Parquet or similar technologies
- Experience working with data-intensive applications
