Senior Software Engineer - Melbourne & Brisbane

We’re partnering with a rapidly scaling, globally backed fintech start-up building out its elite engineering team in Melbourne & Brisbane. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing environment working on impactful greenfield systems alongside exceptional global talent.

You’ll work on complex and conceptual business challenges such as:

• How do we build systems that scale with sudden capacity shifts?
• How do we future-proof business capabilities through better platform design?

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build greenfield financial systems using C#/.Net, Java, or Python with scalable cloud, backend, and SQL solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to define and deliver high-value business outcomes
• Own end-to-end delivery, driving engineering decisions, innovation, and platform improvements
• Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams in a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For

• Software Engineers at all levels but at least 3+ years software development experience in C#/.Net, Java, or Python
• Strong SQL and Azure/AWS cloud experience
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• First-Class Honours or 2:1 in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Russell Group preferred)
• Financial Services experience beneficial but not essential
