Senior Software Engineer, Protocol
Design, implement, and optimize core protocol components, including consensus mechanisms, state synchronization, replication, and mempool transaction propagation. Build fault-tolerant distributed systems in Rust, improve throughput, reliability, and latency, collaborate on protocol designs, resolve live distributed-systems issues, and contribute to testing, benchmarks, and safe releases.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize core protocol components
- Build high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems in Rust
- Improve system throughput, reliability, and latency at scale
- Partner with research and product teams to iterate protocol designs
- Debug and resolve complex distributed-systems challenges in live environments
- Contribute to engineering standards for testing, benchmarks, and safe releases
