Senior Software Engineer
Join Upvest's product engineering team to improve the reliability of its Investment API and design, build, and own fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable distributed systems using a microservice architecture.
Responsibilities
- Make an impact in a product team with broad ownership.
- Work with Go as the primary language.
- Improve the reliability of the Investment API.
- Deliver frequently using an agile methodology with two-week retrospectives and demos.
- Design, build, and own event-driven, fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable distributed systems.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and PostgreSQL in a microservice architecture.
Requirements
- Experience with investment products or the fintech domain.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, event streaming, and event sourcing systems.
- Experience operating services in decoupled, event-driven systems using observability tools such as monitoring and tracing.
