Senior Software Engineer with Angular

EPAM is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer with Angular and ETL/ELT to join a team working on a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform for one of the world's largest and most influential technology companies — a global leader in cloud computing, search, AI, and enterprise productivity solutions.

This role involves end-to-end feature development, authorization architecture, and system modernization. You will be responsible for coordinating feature launches, maintaining system quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve UI/UX and accessibility. Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of major features — from authoring Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and designing metrics strategies to configuration, release, and post-launch stabilization
• Lead the implementation and modernization of authorization stacks, including RBAC and principal validation
• Ensure robust security practices across API and database layers
• Drive the migration of legacy codebases to modern infrastructure (e.g., transitioning legacy clients to gRPC, migrating to modern web frameworks) to improve scalability and maintainability
• Contribute to the development of frontend components (navigation menus, state modules, UI widgets)
• Prioritize accessibility (A11y) and user experience in all UI/UX enhancements
• Conduct thorough code reviews and organize bug bash sessions to ensure system stability
• Provide technical guidance during bug-fixing phases
• Facilitate onboarding of new team members and present demos to stakeholders
• Engage in collaborative discussions regarding system architecture and software quality

Requirements

• Strong experience with backend and frontend development, specifically with authorization frameworks (RBAC), gRPC, and API design
• Familiarity with modernization projects, particularly migrating legacy frontends to web-based frameworks
• Proven ability to create technical documentation (PRDs, user guides) and define metrics/KPI strategies for product launches
• Experience providing code reviews, mentoring, and working closely with accessibility teams to ensure product inclusivity
• Solid understanding of security best practices across API and database layers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for cross-functional collaboration
• Availability to work hybrid from one of the client's offices (Kraków, Wrocław, Gdańsk, or Warsaw)

Nice to have

• Experience working with RPA platforms or automation tooling at scale
• Familiarity with cloud-native development on major cloud platforms
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
• Experience with Protocol Buffers and service-oriented architectures
• Background in working within large-scale, globally distributed engineering organizations
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
• Experience defining and tracking product metrics and KPIs post-launch
