Senior Solutions Engineer, Banking and Capital Markets
This customer-facing technical role designs, builds, validates, and deploys blockchain-based solutions for financial institutions, digital asset platforms, and capital markets infrastructure providers. The role combines pre- and post-sales solutions engineering with delivery, including smart contracts, integrations, off-chain components, and technical guidance.
Responsibilities
- Drive adoption of Chainlink products in the capital markets industry.
- Develop capital markets product strategy through market feedback and technical expertise.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams on product enhancements, bug fixes, and feature development.
- Maintain expertise in capital markets trends, challenges, and emerging technologies.
- Design, build, and validate blockchain-based solutions.
- Write, test, and deploy Solidity smart contracts on EVM-compatible networks.
- Implement middleware, web service, and API integrations.
- Deliver proofs of concept, pilot engagements, and production deployments.
- Scope, demo, document, and support customer engagements and live systems.
Requirements
- Experience with blockchain technology, DeFi, tokenization or digital assets, and digital identity.
- Hands-on experience with middleware, integration architecture, web services, and APIs.
- At least 3 years of customer-facing or delivery experience in software or solutions engineering, professional services, technical consulting, or field engineering.
- Experience building and deploying production or near-production blockchain applications.
- A track record delivering PoC or pilot engagements with enterprise customers.
- Experience with capital markets, financial services, fintech, or regulated industries.
- Solidity experience writing, testing, and deploying smart contracts on EVM-compatible networks.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Rust, or C++.
- Preferred experience with oracle architectures, decentralized data feeds, proof of reserve, cross-chain interoperability, tokenized securities, post-trade infrastructure, node operations, cloud certifications, or open-source blockchain projects.
