Senior Staff Backend Engineer
Design, build, and maintain core backend APIs for payments and loyalty platforms while collaborating with product, design, and engineering stakeholders. Contribute to scalable architecture, promote backend best practices, mentor engineers, and help shape implementation decisions.

- Design, build, and maintain core backend APIs

- Contribute to system architecture and implement scalable, robust solutions
- Promote backend best practices focused on code quality, testing, and performance
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
- Participate in product and design discussions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying backend APIs
- Kotlin or another statically typed JVM language
- RESTful API design and maintenance using domain-driven design principles
- SQL databases, schema design, and database performance tuning
