Senior Support Analyst - Trading Applications
Salary: Up to $200k package + bonus
We're seeking an experienced Senior Support Analyst to join a high-performing trading technology team supporting critical electronic trading platforms across global financial markets.This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys solving complex technical issues, and has a strong understanding of trading workflows and market technology.
You'll work closely with traders, brokers, exchanges, vendors, and technology teams to ensure seamless trading operations and exceptional platform performance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide application support for front-office trading platforms and order management systems.
- Support trading activity across Equities, Derivatives, and related asset classes.
- Investigate and resolve production issues in a time-critical environment.
- Manage exchange and broker connectivity and coordinate with internal infrastructure teams.
- Partner with global technology teams to maintain platform stability and service availability.
- Contribute to system enhancements, releases, and operational improvements.
- Extensive experience supporting trading applications within a financial markets environment.
- Strong knowledge of OMS/EMS platforms, electronic trading, and order lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Linux/Unix, monitoring tools, and messaging technologies.
- Solid understanding of Cash Equities trading, with exposure to futures, options, or swaps viewed favourably.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage directly with traders and senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, self-driven approach and the ability to perform in a high-pressure trading floor environment.
