Senior System Administrator [Ceph Engineer]

Design, deploy, manage, and maintain storage infrastructure in Bengaluru, including performance monitoring, capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery, troubleshooting, documentation, upgrades, migrations, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy SAN and object storage infrastructure
• Monitor and maintain storage systems
• Perform capacity planning and forecasting
• Implement backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies
• Troubleshoot storage system issues
• Maintain configuration and procedure documentation
• Collaborate on system upgrades, migrations, and integrations
• Automate storage provisioning and management

Requirements

• 5+ years of Linux systems administration focused on storage
• Ceph experience
• Enterprise storage systems experience
• RAID, LVM, NFS, iSCSI, multipathing, ext4, XFS, and ZFS
• Clustering technologies
• Shell scripting
• Python
• Puppet or Ansible
• VMware or KVM
• AWS S3 and EBS
• Nagios, Prometheus, or Zabbix
