Senior System Architect
Lead architecture review and reconstruction for payment systems covering transactions, clearing, settlement, risk control, accounting, channel management, and cross-border payments. Design medium- and long-term architecture plans, collaborate with product teams, improve R&D systems and microservice governance, and ensure availability, performance, consistency, security, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Review and reconstruct existing payment system architecture.
- Identify architectural defects, performance bottlenecks, security risks, and scalability issues.
- Design medium- and long-term technical architecture plans for financial payments.
- Plan system layering, service splitting, technology selection, middleware governance, and compliance architecture.
- Adapt cross-border clearing channels and multi-region payment systems.
- Translate product needs into technical implementation plans.
- Build efficient R&D systems, toolchains, automated testing, deployment processes, and microservice governance.
- Ensure high availability, high concurrency, data consistency, and payment security compliance.
- Prevent cross-border payment risks including exchange-rate, clearing-delay, and data-transmission risks.
- Formulate disaster recovery plans and emergency response mechanisms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, or a related major.
- More than 5 years of system architecture design experience in financial payments.
- Experience in payment companies, fintech, internet finance, or bank payment departments.
- Deep understanding of payment processes including transaction initiation, routing, risk control, clearing, reconciliation, and refunds.
- Cross-border payment system design or operations experience.
- Familiarity with SWIFT, CIPS, overseas payment channels, and multi-region compliance.
- Strong distributed systems, microservices, distributed transactions, high-concurrency, caching, and messaging experience.
- Familiarity with Java, Spring Cloud or Dubbo, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, and RocketMQ.
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes preferred.
- Strong cross-team communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of PCI DSS, Netlink/UnionPay specifications, and payment security architecture.
- Experience with payment-license systems, cross-border payment architecture, AML, or KYC preferred.
