Senior Technical Product Manager
Compensation: CAD $48,000–$60,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
About Revun
Revun is a SaaS, CRM, AI, and property operations platform that brings together leasing, maintenance, payments, owner/vendor payouts, communications, compliance, reporting, AI automation, portals, dashboards, integrations, and multiple user roles into one connected operating system.
Revun is a complex operational platform requiring strong product judgment, workflow design, technical understanding, and the ability to translate real business operations into clear software requirements.
About the Role
Revun is hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager to own product requirements, roadmap priorities, workflow design, UX alignment, and product delivery.
You will work directly with leadership to determine what should be built, why it should be built, how it should work, and what should be prioritized.
You will work closely with the Senior Software Architect / Technical Lead, who owns technical architecture and engineering execution, while providing product direction to UX/UI, engineering, and QA.
This is not a backlog administration role. We are looking for someone who can challenge unclear ideas, simplify complex workflows, make strong product decisions, and turn business requirements into clear development execution.
What You Will Do
Own the product roadmap, backlog, feature priorities, and product-side launch readiness.
Translate business needs into clear requirements, workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and development tickets.
Determine what should be built now, delayed, simplified, or removed.
Map complex workflows across CRM, leasing, maintenance, payments, reporting, AI, integrations, and portals.
Define product requirements across multiple user roles, permissions, dashboards, and workflows.
Provide product direction to UX/UI and ensure designs reflect user needs, business rules, workflows, and edge cases.
Work with the Senior Software Architect / Technical Lead on technical feasibility, dependencies, risks, estimates, and trade-offs.
Coordinate with frontend, backend, AI/automation, integration, QA, and DevOps resources throughout development.
Define requirements for AI-powered features and determinewhere AI, automation, or human review should be used.
Work with QA on test scenarios, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and user acceptance testing.
Review completed functionality and determine whether it meets the original product and business requirements.
Identify product gaps, workflow conflicts, unclear requirements, unnecessary complexity, dependencies, and launch blockers.
Conduct product discovery and use stakeholder feedback, user needs, workflow analysis, and product data to guide decisions.
Define measurable success criteria for major features and evaluate performance after release.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A technical degree is strongly preferred.
7+ years of product management, technical product management, or comparable product ownership experience.
4+ years working on complex SaaS, CRM, workflow automation, marketplace, fintech, PropTech, field-service, or multi-user operational platforms.
Strong experience creating product requirements, workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and development-ready specifications.
Experience taking complex features from initial business requirements through UX/UI, development, QA, release, and post-release evaluation.
Strong working knowledge of APIs, integrations, databases, permissions, system dependencies, AI functionality, and modern SaaS platforms.
Experience working closely with senior engineers, software architects, QA, and Product/UX/UI Designers.
Experience with product discovery, user research, backlog management, prioritization, UAT, release planning, and launch readiness.
Ability to challenge unclear requirements, unnecessary complexity, unrealistic timelines, and weak product decisions.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strongly Preferred
Experience with PropTech, real estate technology, property management software, fintech, field service, compliance, marketplace, or operational SaaS platforms.
Experience with AI/LLM workflows, AI automation, document processing, communications, task routing, reporting, or decision support.
Experience with payments, payouts, reconciliation, accounting, ledger, or other financially sensitive workflows.
Experience inheriting an existing SaaS platform and identifying product gaps, workflow problems, UX issues, and launch blockers.
Experience preparing a complex SaaS product for commercial launch.
Experience working with remote or offshore engineering teams.
Experience working directly with founders or senior leadership.
Ideal Candidate
You are not simply someone who manages tickets or maintains a backlog.
You should be able to determine:
What problem are we actually solving?
Is this the right solution?
Does the workflow make sense?
What happens in the edge cases?
Is this important enough to build now?
Can it be simplified?
How will we know whether it worked?
You should be comfortable challenging assumptions and turning incomplete business ideas into clear product decisions that designers, architects, developers, and QA can execute.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 90 days, you will understand the existing platform, clarify major workflows, improve product requirements and backlog quality, align UX and engineering priorities, identify launch-critical gaps, and establish a clear path toward commercial launch.
Leadership should have clear visibility into what is being built, why it is being built, what is blocking progress, and what should happen next.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday to Friday, remote.
Availability during core Eastern Time business hours is required.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume and a short summary of the most complex SaaS or operational software product you have personally managed.
Include the scope of your responsibility, the teams you worked with, and examples of major product decisions you personally owned.
