Senior Technical Recruiter – Engineering
Own full-cycle engineering recruiting from search strategy and sourcing through interview management, offer, and close. Partner with engineering leaders to define hiring needs, recruit specialized hardware and software talent, build passive-candidate networks, establish effective interview processes, and deliver a strong candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering positions
- Partner with engineering executives, architects, technical leaders, and hiring managers to understand organizational needs
- Recruit across silicon and SoC engineering disciplines
- Recruit systems and AI software engineers
- Build talent pipelines across robotics and Physical AI software
- Identify and engage passive candidates through sourcing, networks, referrals, conferences, and technical communities
- Drive the candidate experience from outreach through onboarding
- Establish interview processes, evaluation criteria, and hiring plans with hiring teams
- Represent Velaura in the technical talent market
Requirements
- Experience recruiting deeply technical engineering talent in semiconductors, AI compute, systems software, or adjacent industries
- Experience recruiting CPU, GPU, NPU, AI accelerator, networking, automotive, robotics, or complex SoC talent
- Familiarity with semiconductor engineering terminology and development flows
- Experience recruiting compiler and ML systems engineers
- Experience recruiting engineers working on runtimes, SDKs, profiling tools, model migration, or developer tooling
- Familiarity with robotics and Physical AI ecosystems
- Experience recruiting senior and highly specialized talent
- Existing networks in semiconductor, AI infrastructure, systems software, or robotics communities
- Experience scaling an engineering organization at a startup or rapidly growing technology company
- Experience developing recruiting operations, processes, analytics, and sourcing strategies
