Senior Test Analyst

Salary: $110 – $130 per hour

• Federal Government Role

• Must have minimum Baseline clearance

• Attractive rates + full client fee disclosed

• ACT based role but Hybrid arrangements considered - NSW/VIC/SA/QLD/TAS/WA

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced individuals for one of our clients in Canberra to join as a Senior Test Analyst. The successful candidate will join a skilled multi-disciplinary team to actively test, develop, execute, and report the delivery of ongoing regression testing and functional testing aligned to the Sprint delivery processes

Key Duties:

Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working within multiple development teams to understand the scope of product releases and work with the team to develop acceptance criteria based on business objectives, functional requirements, and service level requirements.

• Development of test plans, test scenarios and/or test scripts for a specific release

• Undertake testing activities including functional, integration and regression testing for each release cycle.

• Report and track the resolution of issues as they are found in testing.

• Assist with issue triaging

• Develop test reports

It is desirable test analysts have experience in:

• Enterprise Resource Planning solutions and/or

• ServiceNow

Essential criteria

1. Experience in test process including preparation, execution, and reporting.

2. Communication skills to be part of a positive team culture.

3. Ability to engage and collaborate internally with other key IT areas, project teams, business areas, and external service providers.

4. Ability to work independently and be a self-motivated individual.

5. Strong conceptual, analytical, and interpretive skills with high level of attention to details.

6. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.

Desirable criteria

1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science (or other relevant discipline).

2. Experience in DevOps

3. Demonstrated testing experience across

4. Enterprise Resource Planning solutions

5. Demonstrated testing experience across the ServiceNow platform

The candidate must have exceptional communication skills who can lean into complex conversations and creates buy-in from stakeholders with varying technical and non-technical backgrounds.
