Service Desk Analyst

Summary

Service Desk Analyst providing first and second level IT support to lawyers and professional services staff at a top-tier Australian law firm in Perth. Day-to-day work covers Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Active Directory, desktop/laptop/mobile device support, ticketing and meeting room AV, with optional exposure to legal apps like iManage, Aderant and Elite 3E.

Salary: Up to $95,000 inc Super

An outstanding opportunity has become available for a Service Desk Analyst to join the Perth office of one of Australia’s leading top tier law firms.

Working as part of a highly regarded national technology team, you will provide first and second level support to lawyers and professional services staff across a broad range of applications, hardware and technology.

The role
You will be responsible for providing responsive and professional technology support across the firm, including:
  • First and second level IT support
  • Microsoft 365 and Windows support
  • Active Directory and user administration
  • Desktop, laptop and mobile device support
  • Application and software troubleshooting
  • Meeting room and audio visual support
  • User account management and access issues
  • Incident and request management
  • Escalating more complex issues to specialist technology teams
  • Providing a high level of service to lawyers, partners and business services teams
About you
The role will suit someone with previous IT support or Service Desk experience within the legal, finance or professional services sector who combines strong technical skills with excellent communication and customer service skills.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years IT support experience
  • Previous experience working in a professional services environment (legal/finance/consultancy)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to talk to technical and non technical audiences
  • Confidence supporting partners, senior lawyers and VIPs within the organisation
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Active Directory, desktop and laptop support, mobile devices, service management or ticketing systems
Previous experience within a law firm or other professional services environment would be highly regarded, as would exposure to legal applications such as iManage, Aderant or Elite 3E, although this is not essential.

Most importantly, you will be personable, confident dealing with people at all levels and genuinely enjoy helping users solve technology problems.
