Shuttle Operation Manager
Responsibilities
-Plan, coordinate, and execute daily delivery schedules based on customer requirements and production plans.
-Manage driver assignments and dispatch operations to ensure on-time and efficient deliveries.
-Conduct onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching for new and existing drivers to ensure compliance with company policies and operating procedures.
-Monitor and track daily dispatch activities, proactively resolving scheduling or delivery issues as they arise.
-Ensure drivers complete assigned routes safely, efficiently, and on schedule through consistent communication and timely follow-up.
-Coordinate with the Fleet Management team to schedule preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and equipment availability for trucks and trailers.
-Monitor transportation KPIs, including on-time delivery, driver productivity, equipment utilization, and service performance, and implement corrective actions when needed.
-Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and all applicable transportation requirements.
-Maintain effective communication with customers, warehouse operations, production teams, and other internal departments to support seamless transportation operations.
-Serve as a backup CDL driver when operational needs require, including covering driver absences or emergency deliveries.
Qualifications
-Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation operations, including experience as a Transportation Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with drivers, customers, and cross-functional teams.
-Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
-Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic transportation or logistics environment.
-Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.).
-Demonstrated leadership experience in supervising drivers or transportation personnel and ensuring operational efficiency.
-Knowledge of DOT regulations, transportation compliance, and safety standards is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
-Valid CDL Class A license.
-Experience managing shuttle, dedicated fleet, or warehouse transportation operations.
-Experience using transportation analytics and KPI reporting to improve operational performance.
-Bilingual in English and Korean.
