Site Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Coordinate delivery support after products arrive on site, including delivery preparation, scheduling and resource planning for the lifting, installation and testing activities performed by appointed vendors and subcontractors. Coordinate vendor teams, allocate resources, and escalate issues. The post-holder attends site and participates in inspections, equipment walkdowns and commissioning oversight (wearing required PPE and complying with the site safety regime) but does not personally perform the installation, lifting, commissioning, operation or maintenance works.

  • Site Meeting Participation:
    Actively participate in daily/weekly site meetings, representing the delivery function to ensure alignment on progress, priorities, and issue resolution across all stakeholders.

  • Equipment Inspection Support:
    Participate in key equipment unpacking inspections when required, ensuring compliance with delivery specifications and identifying any visible defects or discrepancies upon arrival.

  • Vendor Coordination for Commissioning (CxL2–CxL5):
    Coordinate equipment vendors and subcontractors in support of commissioning activities from Level 2 to Level 5, ensuring resources are mobilised and schedules are met. Commissioning and testing are performed by qualified vendors; the post-holder coordinates, oversees and may attend these activities but does not personally perform the testing.

  • Damage Documentation & Reporting:
    Collect and document photographic evidence of any equipment damage or non-conformance identified on site, and ensure proper reporting and escalation in accordance with project progress.

  • Progress & Issue Reporting:
    Provide regular updates to the PMO headquarters on site progress, key milestones, risks, and issues. Ensure transparency and timely escalation of critical matters impacting delivery.

  • Issue Review & Continuous Improvement: Collect and analyse issues encountered during the delivery process; prepare delivery reports and lead post-project reviews to drive knowledge capture and continuous product improvement. Contribute to post-activity reviews and lessons learned; support the identification of recurring issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • International project experience preferred; strong English proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) with the ability to use English as a working language. Spoken Mandarin Chinese is preferred to support effective communication and coordination with China-based suppliers.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (full-time) in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in data centre, MEP, or large-scale infrastructure project delivery, with on-site coordination responsibilities. Strong understanding of the full lifecycle from design and manufacturing to on-site commissioning. Experience in data centres, power systems, HVAC, ELV (extra-low voltage), or prefabricated product industries is preferred.

  • Proficient in CAD tools for drafting; strong command of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple vendors and stakeholders. Strong logical thinking; effective in collaboration and resource management.

  • Willingness to be based on-site and travel as required.

  • Proactive, highly responsible, emotionally stable, team-oriented, and able to perform well under pressure.
