Site Manager (APS Contract)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Site Works Management – Assist the APS Project Manager in managing and coordinating daily site activities, ensuring works are carried out according to approved drawings, methodology, programme, and LTA requirements.
- Progress & Manpower Reporting – Monitor daily site progress, manpower deployment, productivity, and work status, and provide accurate daily reports to the Project Manager.
- Subcontractor & Material Management – Manage subcontractor manpower, material allocation, equipment, and deliverables to ensure resources are available and works progress as scheduled.
- Programme & Recovery Management – Monitor site works against the approved schedule, identify delays or potential issues, and implement recovery measures to catch up with programme where necessary.
- Work Permit & Safety Management – Review and sign off work permits, ensure required controls are in place, and verify that the site is safe and ready before commencement of works.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.
Job Specification:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant architectural experience with a recognized Degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience managing architectural teams on projects of similar scale, complexity, and nature.
- Proven experience in site coordination, architectural works, subcontractor management, and project delivery.
- Good knowledge of LTA requirements, architectural standards, specifications, and workmanship.
- Strong ability to coordinate with LTA, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
