Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India; Hybrid

Site STA Engineer Role is primarily a Supplier Development Role. The role needs the individual to Travel to Supplier Site locations around 70% of work time.

Key activities of the Site STA Engineer

1. New Suppliers Assessment
2. Existing Suppliers Assessment for Quality & Program Risk
3. Capacity Analysis of Suppliers' Manufacturing Setup & initiate appropriate actions to meet Ford's Volume Requirements
4. Drive APQP, PPAP activities for New Model Programs at Supplier sites
5. Improve Suppliers' Performance - Quality, Delivery, Warranty to meet Ford's Quality Operating System Requirement.

Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer, Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering, 8+ years of Experience in Supplier Development - Casting, Forging, Machining
