Social Media Manager
Own Crusoe's organic social presence across X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms. Create and publish platform-native content, translate AI and infrastructure topics for technical audiences, manage creators and contractors, and measure social performance.
Responsibilities
- Own social channels end-to-end, including strategy, content calendars, publishing, and performance reporting.
- Shoot and edit short-form video on-site at data centers, industry events, and offices.
- Launch TikTok and create native vertical content for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
- Translate technical launches, research results, executive commentary, and customer stories into social-native content.
- Build relationships with AI and infrastructure creators, researchers, and technical journalists.
- Build social-native funnels for audience capture, nurturing, and conversion.
- Source, brief, and manage contractors, freelance creators, and influencers.
- Build a user-generated content pipeline.
- Monitor AI and infrastructure conversations and respond quickly to relevant developments.
- Partner with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders to source accurate technical content.
- Support People and Recruiting, Field Marketing and Events, PR and Communications, Workplace, and Executive Leadership teams.
- Track engagement, reach, share of voice, and follower growth and adjust activity based on results.
- Represent the brand voice across social channels.
Requirements
- 4+ years managing social media for a technical, developer-facing, or B2B technology brand.
- Experience with AI, machine learning, infrastructure, or cloud concepts.
- Portfolio of short-form video shot and edited independently.
- Strong writing skills.
- Experience managing a multi-channel editorial calendar.
- Experience reporting on social media performance.
- Ability to work independently, move quickly, and react to news in real time.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with community platforms such as Discord, Reddit, or Hacker News is a bonus.
- Experience with social media management tools such as Sprout Social is a bonus.
- Basic motion graphics or editing skills are a bonus.
