Software Developer
Build and maintain the core backend systems and high-availability infrastructure of Hopae's hConnect digital identity platform. Develop integrations with national electronic ID systems and external identity services, ensure scalability and stability, design reliable APIs, and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop the global authentication platform
- Build and maintain core backend systems and high-availability infrastructure
- Integrate with national eID systems and external identity services
- Build scalable systems for future traffic growth and feature expansion
- Design and maintain APIs for internal services and external partners
- Collaborate through code reviews and write clean, maintainable code
Requirements
- Solid understanding of Node.js and TypeScript
- At least 2 years of backend development experience
- Strong CS fundamentals and mastery of at least one technology
- Experience with OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and access token flows
- 0-to-1 product experience
- Understanding of browser and mobile client compatibility challenges
- Experience with test automation and code quality improvement
- Experience designing and operating large-scale architectures
- API Gateway, PaaS, or SaaS development experience
- Experience with Docker, RabbitMQ or Kafka, and AWS or GCP
