Software Developer (ServiceNow)

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer specialising in ServiceNow, with hands-on experience in designing, developing, integrating, and implementing software solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Implement and support ServiceNow ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
• Develop and maintain: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, ACLs, Service Catalog items, Record Producers.
• Build workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
• Develop and manage integrations with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.
• Configure and maintain CMDB, Service Catalog, and Service Portal solutions.
• Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices and governance standards.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and platform administrators to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Qualifications

1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5–9 years of relevant professional experience in software development, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience developing and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
3. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting, with practical experience in platform configuration, customization, and application development.
4. Demonstrated experience implementing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
5. Experience with ServiceNow development tools and technologies, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, ACLs, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, and integrations.
6. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
